In June the Sun barely commits to night — the calculator will show a long, shallow blue rather than a 20-minute panic. In December you get a short day and a blue that sits around a low sun; that is a gift if you want lights in the afternoon. Wind off the harbour will shake a cheap tripod. Weight it.
