Blue hour in Tokyo

Tokyo Tower or Skytree with a dark foreground, the Sumida River, a crossing from a high walkway — Tokyo is generous with lights, which is exactly what blue hour wants. Neon will clip if you chase a bright preview on the LCD; keep the sky a mid grey on the screen and let the signs go a little hot. In summer the window is later than you think; in winter it is over before dinner in some months.

Times here use Asia/Tokyo. There is no daylight-saving shift to surprise you, but the Sun still moves a long way through the year — use the date field.
