The reliable pictures are from the other side of the water: Brooklyn Bridge walkway, Dumbo, the piers in Brooklyn and Jersey. Midtown streets at blue hour are mixed — vertical signs and taxi lights will blow if you expose for the canyon of sky. I would rather pick one lit tower and a piece of sky than fight 47th Street.
